Skating along the Boulevard 10/1/2004

After the Venturer / Rover skate was rained out, another day was soon planned, although Rovers only this time. The drive down was easy, unless you took the same 'detour' as Chris (should have turned left at Albuquerque). Most hired skates from the shop, while Brett chose to ride his bike, citing knee problems.

Tim spotted a few white pointers along the beach. A sharp eye, developed from hours of practice driving around in his 'work' van all day. After skating to the pier, grabbing an icy pole and slurpy, it was time to head back. Most could skate, but Ben really struggled, uttering words like 'never again' (edited for publication). He spent a lot of time on his butt, but really it was one great ploy to check out all the talent. No photos of Chris or Brett, they was too fast.
